Here's one way to do it
5/6= 0.83333333333....(and so on)
0.83333333333× 120=100
(it's better to use a calculater)

So you have to find 5/6 of 120. You can do this by first finding 1/6, or dividing 120 by 6, which is 20.
1/6 = 20
Now multiply that by 5 to find 5/6ths.
20 x 5 = 100, so 100 students gave their speeches.
