For the left-hand and the right-hand side to be equal, the exponent number of m must on LHS equal the exponent number of m on RHS.

The exponent on m on RHS is 11 and therefore, the exponent on m on LHS must also be 11

We already have m^3 on LHS and therefore all we need to get m^11 is m^8 because then the equation will become


m^8n^2m^3=m^(11)n^2
^{}n^2m^{\textcolor{#FF7968}{(8+3})}=m^(11)n^2
n^2m^(11)=m^(11)n^2
