A(x) = (f(x) - f(a))/(x - a)

A(x) = (f(3) - f(0))/(3 - 0)

A(x) = (3 - (-4))/(3)

A(x) = (3 + 4)/(3)

A(x) = (7)/(3)

A(x) = 2(1)/(3)
