y/9 +5 = 0 subtract from both sides 5 and will get

y/9 +5 -5 = -5

y/9 = -5 multiple both sides by 9 and will get

y = - 45 so choice C. is right sure

Answer:

C.
y=-45

Explanation:

We are given that an expression

(y)/(9)+5=0

We have to find the value of y

(y)/(9)+5=0

Using subtractive property of equality

Subtractive property of equality : When a positive number goes from left side of equal to to right hand side of equal to then the sign changes into negative sign.

(y)/(9)=-5

Using multiplication property of equality then we get

y=-5*9

y=-45

Hence, option C is true.
