Let the numbers be x - 1, x and x + 1
x - 1 + x + x + 1 = 267
3x = 267
x = 267/3 = 89

Therefore, the largest number is x + 1 = 89 + 1 = 90

We let the x the first number, x+1 the second number and x+2 is the third number. Then we construct an equation that will represent the statement above which will be:

x + x+ 1 + x + 2 = 267
3x = 267 - 3
3x = 264
x = 88
x+1 = 89
x+2 = 90

Therefore, the largest number is 90.
