A candle is placed 22 cm from a converging mirror. An upright image is produced and is located 53 cm behind the mirror. What is the magnification?​

Answer:

2.41

Explanation:

Magnifcation = Image distance/object distance

Given;

Image distance = -53cm

Object distance = 22cm

Substitute

Magnification = 53/22

Magnification = 2.41

Note that the negative sign is not used in calculating magnification
