The problem ask to prove that the two equation or trigonometric functions are similar and congruent to each other , so base on the data in your problem and by following certain theories about the said trigonometric functions, the answer would be sin3x = sin(2x + x) = sin2x cos x + cos2xsinx, I hope this would help you
