The correct answers are :

1. H

Maximum absorption of water takes place in the large intestine. The water from the food is absorbed here and the left over material is excreted out of the body.

2. The process of chemical digestion starts from the mouth. The digestion of carbohydrates starts from the mouth, the enzyme called amylase starts degrading the carbohydrate present in food.

3. The villi present in small intestine increases the surface area for absorption of food. The nutrients present in the food is absorbed in small intestine.
