For each of the following angles, assume that the terminal ray of the angle opens up in the counter-clockwise direction.A circle with a radius 6 cm long is centered at Angle A's vertex, and Angle A subtends an arc length of 9 cm along this circle.The subtended arc is how many times as long as the circle's radius?   Therefore, the radian measure of Angle A is: radians

\begin{gathered} L=r\theta \\ L=6\theta \end{gathered}

The subtended arc will be theta times the radius

Therefore, the radian measure of Angle A is:

\begin{gathered} L=9 \\ 9=6\theta \\ \theta=(9)/(6) \\ \theta=1.5_{\text{ }}radians \end{gathered}

For each of the following angles, assume that the terminal ray of the angle opens-example-1
