Jane is traveling to Europe this summer with the French club. She plans to bring $300 to spend while she is there. If $90 in U.S. currency is equivalent to 63 euros, how many euros will she receive when she exchanges her money?

If Jane exchanges all $300 then she will receive 210 euros. The way I figure this is 63 Euros is .7 or %70 of $90. If you take that figure and find .7 or %70 of 300, you will find it equals out to 210.

Answer:she will bring €210

Explanation:

By cross multiplication

If $90 Is equal to €63

Hence $300 is equal to x

X=(300*63)/90

X=18900/90

X=€210
