3x^2 + 9x + 6 = 0
3x^2 + 3x + 6x + 6 = 0
3x(x + 1) + 6(x + 1) = 0
(3x + 6)(x + 1) = 0
3x + 6 = 0 and x + 1 = 0
3x = -6 and x = -1
x = -2 and x = -1
