What is the length of the arc that subtends a central angle of 139°, for a circle with a radius of 7.5 centimeters? Use 3.14 for π when necessary

Explanation:

As per circle arc theorem we have

arc length s = Central angle* perimeter of the circle / 360

Here given that radius = 7.5 cm

Hence circumference = 2 (3.14)(7.5) = 47.1 cm

Central angle / 360 = 139/360 = 0.3861111

Hence arc length = 0.3861111*47.1 = 18.18583 cm
