Answer:

Correct answer is false

Step-by-step explanation:

Amontons’s law :

According to Amonton's law, "At constant volume, pressure of fixed amount of gas is directly proportional to its Kelvin temperature".

Mathematically, this can be written:

P\propto\ T

P=KT..........(1)

Here K is a constant

From equation(1) it is clear that gas pressure is directly proportional to Kelvin temperature of a gas. It means when temperature of the gas increases that time pressure exerted by the gas on its container is also increases.

It means the given statement, "The pressure exerted by a gas on its container is inversely related to its Kelvin temperature" is false.

That statement is False

The fact is as the pressure increased, the temperature will also be increased. So pressure and temperature DO NOT have inverse relation.

hope this helps
