LLL: 26 posibilities for each term = 26³ = 17,576 possibilities for the letters alone

NNN: 10 possibilites for each term = 10³ = 1000 possibilities for the numbers alone

multiplying the both
17,576×1000

= 17,576,000

Just over 17.5 million license plate outcomes are possible
