Most Americans believed that Woodrow Wilson was a devout idealist. President Woodrow Wilson considered himself to be a predetermined individual, somebody implanted with the obligation of making an entirely different world dependent on two standards. Those two standard, or ideals, were: Christianity and Democracy. He attempted to create conciliatory arrangements, and diplomatic policies that unfortunately, as we can anticipate from this period, they didn't work. His thoughts and strategy had little impact on the world, considering the happening of the WWI. Many Americans did not even agree with Wilson's ideals, but they were craving changes and for sure, Wilson tried to give them that change, but he wasn't that successful.
