I'm going to build it from the bottom up:
(x+0)(x-1)(x-2)=y
x(x-1)(x-2)=y
x[(x^2) -3x+2]=y
(x^3) -(3x^2)+2x=y
Sorry! It's hard to show equations using a keyboard!
