I got 5 is this right because the averages are 5,10, and 15 so it would be 5?

Answer:

1.5

Explanation:

The answer is 1.5 because if you were to take 1 whole of the cheddar corn, it'll be 10 and half of that is 5 and when you add those together you get 15 which is 1.5 of 10. I know this is right because i took the quiz and got 100%

For proportionality constant problems, set up the equation as,

x=Ky,

Where x and y are the two variables you are comparing and K is the proportionality constant. If we take Caramel Corn values as x and Cheddar Corn values as y, and then solve for K for each ratio lines, we will get the same answer. Let's check.

15=K(10)\\K=(15)/(10)= (3)/(2),

30=K(20)\\K=(30)/(20)= (3)/(2), and

45=K(30)\\K=(45)/(30)= (3)/(2).

Hence, the proportionality constant, in this case K, is equal to
(3)/(2) or 1.5. First answer choice is correct.
