5x-3y=12
2x-y=5

5x-3y=12
2x-y=5
Multiply equation II by 3;
5x-3y=12
6x-3y=15
Subtracting equation II from equation 1;
x=3
2x-y=5
2(3)-y=5
6-y=5
6-5=y
y=1
