What is the value of h(–2) when h(x) = 3x 1

is it 3x+1 or 3x-1?

if it is +1 then the problem looks like this : h(-2)= 3(-2)+1 = -6+1=-5
if it is -1 then the problem looks like this : h(-2) = 3(-2)-1 = -6-1 = -7
