so we know that the height = 6 m
and the diameter is 6*6 = 36 m so from this result the radius = 36/2 = 18 m

so the volume of cylinder = area of base *height

V = (18)^2 *pi *6 = 6104,16 m^3

hope helped

Answer:

Volume of the cylinder(V) is given by:

V = \pi r^2h

where,

r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder respectively.

As per the statement:

A cylinder has a height of 6 meters and a diameter that is 6 times the measure of the height.

⇒ h = 6 meter

and

\text{diameter} = 6 * h = 6 * 6 = 36 m

We know that:

\text{Diameter} = 2r

36 = 2r

Divide both sides by 2 we have;

18 m = r

or

r = 18 m

Use:
\pi = 3.14

Substitute the given values we have;

V = 3.14 \cdot 18^2 \cdot 6

V = 6,104.16 m^3

Therefore, the volume of the cylinder is, 6,104.16
m^3
