A department store advertised that for every $25 you spend at the store,

you get $2 off your total bill. Nate's bill came to $154 before the
discount. He figured he would get a $12 discount. Is his claim
reasonable?  Explain.

his claim is resonable 154/25=6 r4 6x2=12

Yes because $154 divided by $25 is $6.16, if you multiply $6.16 by 2 for the $2 discount it would be $12.32, which rounded off would be $12
