distance between two parallel lines is given by
\fracb_2 - b_1{ \sqrt{ m^(2) +1} } = \frac-1 - 4{ \sqrt{ 4^(2) +1} } = (|-5|)/( √( 16 +1) ) = (5)/( √(17) ) =1.21
