Read this line from Chapter 2:

Justin decided to try an alternative approach, one that wouldn't remind him of all the ways he had failed

Why does Justin feel he needs to avoid reminders of how he had failed? Write a short essay explaining why this kind of approach is important for Justin.

You don't have to write the essay for me, I just want help to figure this out.

Hi, so Juston wants to avoid countinious reminders of failing because it doesnt help his confidence, and that it just makes him want to fail more. It makes him think that he will never ever pass, If people keep convincing him, then he will help himself to pass.

Well, look at it this way: If you failed your test, and (for example) your siblings kept teasing or talking about it with you, you wouldn't feel very comfortable would you now? This what Justin probably felt like when felt that he wanted to avoid reminders of how he had failed.

Note: this isn't the "essay", this a place to start from, so you can write the answer in your own words.

Hope this helps!
