The cattle kingdom ended in 1880s and several factors brought this to the catlle. One of the main reasons is the overgrazing and overproduction because the ranchers were encouraged by the great profitability. There were also successive harsh winters on 1886 and 1887.

Sever winters make it hard for the people to survive, whether from food shortage or other illness that caused by cold
