The formula d = rt gives the distance d traveled in time t at rate r. A bicyclist rides at a constant rate of 22 kmph. How many kilometers will he travel in 2.5 h?

The bicyclist will travel 55km in 2.5h

The solution is as follows:
Solve for d if t = 2.5h and r = 22 km/h
d = rt
d = 2.5h * 22km/h
d = 55km
