The slope - intercept form of the equation of a line can be generally expressed as,
y = mx + b
The equation of the line can be obtained by,
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
Substituting the known values,
y - 4 = 2(x - 3)
Simplifying,
y = 2x - 2
