Answer:

The correct answer is - Largest: producer, smallest: tertiary consumer or predators.

Explanation:

An ecosystem is a community of different populations in a particular region and interacts and works together. In a balanced ecosystem, the condition is the same but there is no effect of the factors exist in the ecosystem.

The largest population will be producers due to their ability to create storage energy from light energy and all ecosystem depend on them where the smallest population will be top-level trophic it can be a secondary or tertiary consumer as there is less energy than other trophic levels.

Thus, the correct answer is - Largest: producer, smallest: tertiary consumer or predators.

If the ecosystem is balanced, the population of the organisms would follow the consumer pyramid which means that the plants being the most widely eaten, should have the largest population. Since the predators are on the topmost part of the pyramid, their population should be the least.
