After the first sale, you have 8 yellow ones left, in a total bunch of 17 balloons. The probability that the next random draw is a yellow one is. 8/17 = about 47.1% .

There are 17 balloons remaining, of which 8 are yellow. therefore the probability that the next balloon is also yellow is 8/17
