A diagonal cross section of a sphere produces a circle.

Regardless of how the sphere is cut, it will form a circle.

Answer:

The diagonal cross sectional area resulting cross sectional area will be circle.

Explanation:

If any diagonal cross sectional area intersects a sphere it will give the cross sectional shape of circle

Whenever a plane intersects a three dimensional figure it will result in two dimensional figure.

The sphere when intersects by a plane will always give the circle no matter where does it intersect from.
