The answer is letter a. m∠BAD = 108.42°

The solution is as follows:
If m∠BAC = 40.62° and m∠BCA = 30.96°, then
m∠CBA = 180° - m∠BCA - m∠BAC
m∠CBA = 108.42°

Since m∠BAD = m∠CBA due to the parallelogram's property,
m∠BAD = 108.42°.
