The correct choice is

B. can be real or virtual depending on the object's placement

When the object is placed beyond the radius of curvature of the mirror, the mirror produces real, inverted and smaller image of the object.

When the object is placed between the radius of curvature of the mirror and the focal point, the mirror produces real, inverted and larger image of the object.

When the object is placed at the radius of curvature of the mirror , the mirror produces real, inverted and equal size image of the object.

When the object is placed closer than the focal point, the mirror produces virtual, erect and larger image of the object.

Option B. Images can be real or virtual depending on the object´s placement.

If the object is to the right of the focal point the image will be virutal and if the object is to the left of the focal point the image will be real.
