What would be the first thing you would do if you are burned by a chemical while performing a lab experiment?

Flood the affected area with cool water for at least 20 minutes. While doing so, determine what exact chemical has created the burn and respond accordingly. Also, ask for assistance from your lab consultant right away.

The first step is to clean the burned area with cool water. If the chemical is an acid, you apply a base like soap. If it is a base, you clean it with water. if the condition remains the same then take sodium pellet and apply on the burnt area..!!!
