(-4,5)(-2,-3)
slope(m) = (y2 - y1) . (x2 - x1)
slope(m) = (-3-5) / (-2-(-4) = -8/2 = - 4

y = mx + b
slope(m) = -4
(-4,5)...x = -4 and y = 5
now we sub and find b, the y int
5 = -4(-4) + b
5 = 16 + b
5 - 16 = b
-11 = b

equation is : y = -4x - 11

Start by finding the gradient of the line;
Gradient, m=
(change in y)/(change in x)
m=
(5--3)/(-4--2)
m=
(8)/(-2)
m=-4
y=-4x+c
Substituting for values of x and y;
-3=-4(-2)+c
-3=8+c
c=-11
y=-4x-11
