we are given the equation or function y = sqrt (2x + 1). The derivative of the equation is expressed as

1. dy/dt = 0.5 *2 *(2x + 1)^-0.5 dx/dt
when x = 4 and dx/dt =3
dy/dt = 0.5 *2 *3*(2*4 + 1)^-0.5
dy/dt = 1

2. dy/dt = 0.5 *2 *(2x + 1)^-0.5 dx/dt
If dy/dt = 5, find dx/dt when x = 12.
5= 0.5 *2 (2*12 + 1)^-0.5 dx/dt
dx/dt = 1
