divide both sides by pi
(4/3)(r^3)=V/pi
times both sides by 3/4 to clear fraction
r^3=(3V)/(4pi)
take 3rd root of both sides
r=
\sqrt[3]{ (3V)/(4pi) }

we are given with the equation V = 4/3(pi)r^3. this is the formula of the volume of the sphere as recalled. to solve for r, we apply first the division property by dividing the equation by 4/3(pi). This results to V /4/3(pi) = r^3. next we raise the eqn by 1/3. The answer is [V /4/3(pi)]^1/3 = r = 0.62 V^1/3
