The sample space of choosing 3 sweaters from the 5 sweaters in the suitcase is 5C3 or "combination of 5 taken 3" which is equal to 10. If she has 3 favorites from them, the ways she could choose the 3 is equal to 3C3 which is equal to 1. The probability is equal to 1/10.
