The rule of the volume of the triangular pyramid is


V=(1)/(3)bh

b is the area of its base

h is its height

Since the area of the base is 24.2 square feet, then

b = 24.2

Since its height is 5.2 feet, then

h = 5.2

Substitute them in the rule above to find the volume


\begin{gathered} V=(1)/(3)(24.2)(5.2) \\ V=41.94666667ft^3 \end{gathered}

Round it to the nearest tenth


V=41.9ft^3

The volume of the triangular pyramid is 41.9 cubic feet
