We have the following:

<1 and <6 are supplementary angles, that is, the sum of these two is equal to 180 degrees


\begin{gathered} <1+<6=180 \\ <1=4x+1 \end{gathered}

replacing:


\begin{gathered} 4x+1+<6=180 \\ <6=-4x-1+180 \\ <6=179-4x \end{gathered}

The answer is D. (179 -4x)°
