For this case we have the following equation:

-k + 0.03 + 1.01k = -2.45 - 1.81k

An equivalent way to write this equation is to multiply both sides of the equation by a scalar.

When multiplying both sides of the equation by 100 we have:

100 * (- k + 0.03 + 1.01k) = 100 * (- 2.45 - 1.81k)

By doing distributive property we have:

-100k + 3 + 101k = -245 - 181k

Answer:

An equation that is equivalent is:

-100k + 3 + 101k = -245 - 181k
