Answer:

Length of the arc will be 2.69 cm.

Explanation:

We have to calculate the length of an arc if θ =
(2\pi )/(7) and radius of arc is 3 cm.

As we know length of an arc = r × θ

By putting the values of angle θ and radius of arc r in the formula

m (arc) =
(2\pi )/(7) × 3

=
(6\pi )/(7)

=
(6(3.14))/(7)

= 2.69 cm

Therefore, length of the arc will be 2.69 cm.

arc length = θ/2pi * 2pi * r = θ * r = 2pi/7 * 3 = 6pi/7 = 2.69 cm
