The Colorado Plateau, also recognized as the Colorado Plateau Province, is a physio graphic and sandy area of the Intercontinental Plateaus, approximately concentrated on the Four Corners area of the southwestern United States.
The Colorado Plateau is widely made up of the great desert, with disseminated sections of forests. Nearly 90% of the region is washed away by the Colorado River and its chief streams are the Green, San Juan, and Little Colorado.
