The answer is D. The use of pesticides only pollutes the environment and causes the accumulation of toxins in the ecosystem. However, it does not change the earth’s surface. Melting of ice glaciers cause an increase in sea levels and eats on continents coastlines. Agriculture puts large areas of the earth’s surface under a monocrop and the leveling of land. Draining wetlands affects the flow of water on the earth’s surface.
