Just draw a simple picture of a house or a dog or a person or a building where you have only 3 rectangles and 1 circle, 6 rectangles and 2 circles, 9 and 3, etc. Do this three times and you should be set.

Let

x--------> the number of rectangles in the drawing

y--------> the number of circles in the drawing

r--------> ratio of rectangles to circles

we know that

r= (x)/(y)

r= (3)/(1)

Drawing N 1

see the attached figure N 1

we have

the number of rectangles is equal to
3

x=3

the number of circles is equal to
1

y=1

Find the ratio

r= (3)/(1)

Drawing N 2

see the attached figure N 2

we have

the number of rectangles is equal to
6

x=6

the number of circles is equal to
2

y=2

Find the ratio

r= (6)/(2)=(3)/(1)

Drawing N 3

see the attached figure N 3

we have

the number of rectangles is equal to
9

x=9

the number of circles is equal to
3

y=3

Find the ratio

r= (9)/(3)=(3)/(1)
