We can solve by substituting x-4 for y in the first equation.
x-4 = -2x+8
3x = 12
x = 4
Then plug in 4 for x in one of the equations.
y = 4-4
y = 0
OR
y = -2(4)+8
y = -8+8
y = 0
So the solution is (4,0)
