It will take you 2 hours.
Here's how....
Set up the problem as a proportion, bearing in mind that ....
1/8 = .125 (of the whole yard)
1/4 = .25 (of an hour)
1 = the whole yard
.125 1
------ = -----
.25 x
.125x = .25
x = 2
