When we know that the molarity of the hydronium ion we can determine the pH by the following pH = - log [ H3O + ]

pH = - log 10 ( 7.5 * 10 ∧-9 )

pH = 8.125

Hope this helps :).

Answer:

pH = 8.125

Step-by-step explanation:

The pH of a solution can be defined as measure or the quantity of hydrogen ion that is present in a solution. The pH of a solution determines how acidic or basic a solution is.

In order to be able to determine the pH of a solution, the molar concentration of the Hydronium ion [H3O+] in the solution must be known.

The pH is then calculated using the formula :

pH = - log [H3O+].

[H3O+] = 7.5 x 10⁻⁹ M

pH = - log[7.5 x 10⁻⁹M]

pH = 8.125
