f(-1)= -1^2 = +1

g(1) = 1/2*1 ? 3

so what sign missed from there ????

Answer:

The value of
g(f(-1))=(1)/(2)

Explanation:

Given :
f(x)=x^2 and
g(x)=(1)/(2)x^3

To find : The value of
g(f(-1))?

Solution :

First we find the function g(f(x)),

Which means substitute the value of f(x) in g(x)

g(f(x))=(1)/(2)(x^2)^3

g(f(x))=(1)/(2)(x^6)

Now, we put the value of x=-1

g(f(-1))=(1)/(2)(-1^6)

g(f(-1))=(1)/(2)(1)

g(f(-1))=(1)/(2)

Therefore, The value of
g(f(-1))=(1)/(2)
