In that exact order you lined the characters up is the order in which they die. So Mercutio dies  by Tybsalt's sword, then Romeo kills Tybalt,Romeo dies by drinking the poison and Juliet dies by stabbing herself.Hopefully this helps:)

Answer: A. Mercutio dies

Explanation: In "Romeo and Juliet", by William Shakespeare, the event that happens first is Mercutio dies. In Act III, Scene I, Mercutio and Benvolio are walking on the streets. Tybalt enters looking for Romeo, who doesn't want to fight him. Tybalt stabs Mercutio when Romeo tries to prevent them from fighting. Then Romeo kills Tybalt. Romeo dies because he thinks Juliet is dead and finally Juliet dies.
