Use the Sine Law:
(sin(A))/(a) = (sin(B))/(b) = (sin(C))/(c)

In this case:

(sin(44))/(17)=(sin(60))/(e)
therefore:

e=17(sin(60))/(sin(44)) \approx 21.2
