For option a: domain is [a, ∞), range is [b, ∞)
For option b: domain is [b, ∞), range is (-∞, a]
For option c: domain is [-a, ∞), range is (-∞, -b]
For option d: domain is [-b, ∞), range is [-a, ∞)
Hence the correct answer is option b.
